Bio
Jimmy Bynum is Chief Executive Officer of Garde Solutions, where he sets the firm’s strategic vision and leads the design of insurance, extended service contract, and risk management solutions that support long-term OEM and dealer partnerships.
Prior to founding Garde Solutions, Jimmy spent 12 years in global leadership roles with Cat Insurance, the captive insurance and extended protection division of Caterpillar Inc. As Managing Director for Asia Pacific, he led the development and implementation of extended protection plans and physical damage insurance programs across China, Southeast Asia, and India, working closely with manufacturing, finance, and dealer networks to structure scalable, capital-efficient risk solutions.
Jimmy is active in the industry and has served on the boards of the Global Warranty and Service Contract Association and the Texas Captive Insurance Association.
