Bio

With over 20 years in the automotive industry both in Europe and the USA, Marijo currently holds the role of Director, Warranty Operations & Technical Assistance at KIA America, where he reports to the VP of Service Operations.

He holds full oversight on warranty payments, warranty support, dealer audits, and warranty cost/factory recovery. In addition to his warranty role, Marijo ensures accurate technical advice and guidance for dealer technicians. Lastly,  he oversees the Service Garage where various technical work and tests on KIA vehicles are being performed.

With KIA America being the most important market for the brand, he manages multi-million-dollar transactions between the U.S. dealer network, KIA America, and international KIA factories.  Marijo is responsible for forecasting financial expenses, income, recovery, and assesses misrepresented profits based on warranty earnings.

He leads a team of 70 employees including contractors through three direct report managers and manages budgets including personnel, overhead, operating expenses, etc. Additionally, he leads process implementations with supporting technological solutions.
