To advance OEM Benchmarking on Returns, Root Cause, and Supplier Accountability
February session hosted by former Stellantis quality and supply chain operations executive
MAPconnected has announced the launch of the Parts & Quality Analysis Xchange Group, a new OEM-only executive peer benchmarking forum designed to help automotive manufacturers improve parts return strategy, accelerate root cause analysis, and strengthen supplier accountability.
The Parts & Quality Analysis Xchange Group brings together senior leaders across parts return operations, quality engineering, supplier quality, warranty, and field performance. Through confidential, facilitated benchmarking sessions, members compare operating models, governance structures, and performance metrics that directly impact quality outcomes, cost recovery, and corrective action effectiveness.
“This group was created in direct response to OEM demand for deeper benchmarking around parts returns and quality analysis,” said Pam Walter, Founder & CEO of MAPconnected. “Leaders are looking for practical, peer-validated ways to reduce waste, improve time-to-insight, and ensure analysis actually drives corrective action. This Xchange Group delivers exactly that.”
February Event Overview: Parts Return Strategy & Cost Optimization
The inaugural virtual session will take place February 24 11:00 – 12:15pm ET and will focus on Parts Return Strategy & Cost Optimization, examining how OEMs determine what parts are returned versus scrapped—and why. Participants will benchmark return policies, cost-to-insight thresholds, centralized versus distributed return models, and the executive trade-offs that shape these decisions.
The session will be hosted by Daryl Kreskowiak, former Manager of Supplier Warranty Cost Recovery – Stellantis, who will guide the conversation on real-world perspectives on scaling parts return and quality analysis programs across complex global operations, including lessons learned on governance, cost control, and cross-functional alignment.
Built for Benchmarking, Not Theory
The Parts & Quality Analysis Xchange Group follows MAPconnected’s proven peer benchmarking model, emphasizing give-and-take participation, member-defined agendas, and structured comparisons rather than vendor presentations or theoretical discussion.
Future sessions will address:
- Root cause analysis governance and closed-loop corrective action
- Supplier accountability and recovery enablement
- Advanced parts analysis, AI applications, and risk management
Participation in the Xchange Group will require active MAPconnected Annual Membership which includes access to a broader executive ecosystem, including:
