Execution Is Becoming the Warranty Advantage

From TAC strategy and AI-assisted claims workflows to live factory benchmarking, this week’s edition focuses on where execution is changing warranty operations now.

Warranty teams are under mounting pressure to move faster without compromising accuracy, governance, or dealer support. Across MyWarrantyNetwork, members are actively comparing and reassessing workflows—from AI‑assisted decision points and TAC modernization to parts‑return benchmarking and peer‑driven process reviews—revealing exactly where execution is improving and where operational gaps are still slowing decisions across the warranty lifecycle.

This week’s CONNECT digs into how leaders are challenging long-standing manual processes—and why the June 17–18 Houston Club Study is shaping up to be a can’t‑miss chance to challenge your systems and strategies against your peers while examining real‑world claims workflows, emerging approaches, and testing where AI can genuinely accelerate the repair‑to‑claim lifecycle as it actually operates on the ground without introducing new risk.

Join the discussions shaping warranty, service, and aftersales operationsand start benefiting from peer-driven insight across the network.

TAC Leadership Xchange Group Meetup #2: Benchmarking the Future of Technical Support Operations

The second TAC Leadership Xchange Group meetup brought together leaders from Ford, Hyundai, Hyundai Canada, Kia, Toyota, Winnebago, and others to compare how Technical Assistance Centers are evolving across diagnostics, technician enablement, warranty governance, and dealer support.

Key discussion areas included:

  • Technician certification requirements
  • VIN‑level scan tool integration
  • Prior‑approval workflows
  • Repeat‑repair tracking
  • Introduction of TAC effectiveness Metrics Framework

The conversation continues August 11 with a dedicated benchmarking session on TAC Metrics, KPIs & Performance Benchmarks, where participants will compare definitions, reporting approaches, workflow blending, escalation behavior, and dealer-facing performance measures. Session is open to new OEMs.

AI–Service Warranty Lifecycle Management is MAPconnected’s Think Tank focused on moving AI in warranty from concept to testable, measurable reality. It brings together OEMs, suppliers, and technology leaders across warranty, service, engineering, diagnostics, and parts return to evaluate real-world use cases and pilot AI-driven solutions across the lifecycle. We move beyond discussion and accelerate production-level testing that demonstrates practical, near-term value.

CARS Protection Plus & Circuitry.ai Showcase: How AI Drives Claims Accuracy

Warranty operations are under increasing pressure to improve accuracy, reduce cost leakage, and accelerate decisions without adding complexity.

On June 9, the next MAPconnected AI-SWLM Think Tank Showcase will feature Circuitry.ai and CARS Protection Plus discussing how AI is being applied across the warranty lifecycle—from automated claim validation and anomaly detection to claim scoring, adjudication, and advisor support.

Attendees will also hear directly about the recent launch of Circuitry.ai’s Warranty Decision Intelligence platform at CARS Protection Plus, designed to support faster, more consistent claims decisions and clearer servicer communication.

Toyota & Pegasystems Showcase: Turning Warranty Warning Signs Into Coordinated Action

In the latest AI-SWLM Think Tank Sponsor Showcase, Toyota and Pegasystems explored how organizations are advancing warranty early warning detection beyond dashboards and isolated signals—connecting data, AI, and process orchestration to drive faster, more coordinated action across the enterprise.

The discussion examined how leading teams are identifying meaningful emerging patterns across warranty, telematics, diagnostics, manufacturing, supplier, and customer systems while improving triage, escalation, ownership, and prevention workflows.

Key topics included:
▪ Detecting meaningful patterns across large volumes of operational data
▪ Ranking and prioritizing signals based on severity and impact
▪ Using AI to accelerate anomaly detection and trend recognition
▪ Improving cross-functional coordination through structured workflows
▪ Moving from reactive issue management toward upstream prevention

The session reinforces a growing industry shift: the advantage no longer comes from collecting more data—it comes from turning signals into aligned action faster.

What Leaders Are Gaining Through The Members Hub & Marketplace

Most industry conversations end when the event does. MyWarrantyNetwork was built to keep the collaboration going.

Through Leadership Xchange Groups, AI-SWLM Think Tanks, virtual roundtables, benchmarking discussions, and direct peer collaboration, members stay connected to the operational realities shaping warranty, service, quality, and aftersales performance throughout the year—not just during annual events.

Leaders are gaining access to practical benchmarking, faster insight-sharing, real-world problem solving, and a trusted network of peers working through the same challenges across OEM, supplier, and service organizations.

Back to the Factory Floor: Where Warranty Execution Gets Exposed

Most warranty discussions happen in conference rooms. This one happens inside the operation itself.

On June 17–18, 6-8 OEMs will step inside the brand new Mitsubishi Logisnext’s Customer Experience Center in Houston for a working-style Club Study focused on how warranty decisions actually move through the lifecycle—from diagnostics and repair workflows to claims handling, parts return, failure analysis, and recovery processes.

Alongside facilitated peer benchmarking and AI-SWLM Think Tank discussions, participants will examine where manual processes still create friction, where automation is realistically helping, and how organizations are improving accuracy, consistency, and decision support without losing operational control.

This isn’t theory or future-state discussion. It’s a direct look at how OEM teams are approaching execution right now.
